Black Hole Radio — App Privacy Policy

Effective September 24, 2026. This policy covers the Black Hole Radio Android application, published by Majestic Digital M for Black Hole Audio.

Information used to deliver radio

The app does not require an account and does not ask for your name, contacts, microphone, camera, precise location, or payment information. It connects over HTTPS to Radio.co to play the station and retrieve current song information and station artwork. These connections disclose your IP address and technical request information to Radio.co. Radio.co states that listener IP addresses are used to estimate approximate location for royalty reporting and are anonymized before storage and aggregation. Connection and listening information may also support station statistics and service operation.

Advertising and tracking

The app contains no advertising SDK, analytics SDK, account registration, purchases, or advertising-identifier access. The station controls its audio programming, which may include announcements or sponsorship messages. We do not sell personal information through the app.

Playback, Android Auto, and external links

Background playback and Android Auto use Android media services to show song information and playback controls. Audio buffering and player state are used to provide playback. Opening the station website or other links launches your browser; those websites have their own data practices. Google Play and Android may separately process information under Google’s policies.

Retention, security, and your choices

The app does not maintain a listener account or a persistent listening-history database. Network traffic for radio and metadata is encrypted in transit using HTTPS. Radio.co manages retention of its service records under its own policy; see Radio.co’s privacy policy. You can stop listening, close the app, clear its local data in Android settings, or uninstall it. Support messages, if you contact us, are used to respond to your request and retained only as needed for support and applicable legal obligations. You may contact us to request access to or deletion of information you have supplied, subject to applicable requirements.
